For delegates who want to complete Level A (CCOT) in an intensive face-to-face learning environment, the 3-day course provides a 'fast track' approach to developing competence.
During the 3 days you will receive tuition, take part in discussions and undertake a range of evaluation
tasks to demonstrate your increasing competence, some of which require evening work. The 3-day
intensive course covers all aspects of the Level A (CCOT) by making highly effective use of the contact
time. No attendance is required beyond the 3-day course though you will be required to complete some
pre-course reading and self-assessment exercises so that you are well prepared, as well as a post-course
test review and written report
During the course the assessment of your competence will take place in a number of ways including
open-book assessments, written reports and group discussions. Practical competence will be assessed
through group and individual exercises that give you the opportunity to develop your skills in a safe,
peer-supported environment.
